Piratical

For those who were interested, the Pirate is back to torturing The Cat, which means that although he still has some 'discomfort' (don't you want to break the nose of every doctor/dentist who lays claim to that particular outcome?) he is well on the Road to Recovery. The Cat says that when she grows up to be a Tiger, the first thing she's going to do is eat the Pirate for lunch.

And then she'll take a nap.

The pirate must be feeling better if he is able to torture the baby tiger. pao has heard that his op is likely to be at the end of March so I'll be watching out for the cat torturing stage as a milestone of the recovery progress.

Mrs. Pao~ The Cat is somewhere between 13 and 17 years old (she was a stray, very ill and headed for euthanasia when we rescued her from the Humane Shelter), so she'd better hurry up if she is planning to grow up into a Tiger at all. :D

Wordgirl~ See above for The Cat, Pirate is my husband and the Vampire is my son. Info on all three (plus The Basket) can be found sprinkled throughout the archives here. (that's a shameless ploy to get you to read more of my blog - I hope it works!)

Sis, you've been reading E. Peters! I'm so proud...

Tink~ the Pirate plans to be a lion in his next life. He specifies that he wants to be a MALE lion, so that he can just lay in the sun, eat the food that is brought to him, and occasionally bat a cub around a bit.

I pointed out that this is basically the life The Cat would have if it wasn't for the way that the Pirate interferes with her dignity and sleep on such a regular basis. The Pirate feels that he is part of The Cat's karma, and that she hasn't earned the right to Lion Maledom yet.

Somehow I suspect the Cat feels that the Pirate isn't earning that right either, at the moment...
